This resource could help you with behaviour management in the classroom. I haven’t used it yet, but intend to give it a go. Class Dojo would be fantastic on the smartboard, but equally useful on a laptop. Your class is loaded in and assigned a cute monster avatar. If ‘Johnny’ does something fantastic, the teacher clicks on their avatar and selects what he demonstrated from an editable list of behaviours. I think it would work very well with some students, and encourage the teacher to actively praise the students. There is an option to show negative behaviours as well, but I feel it is better to focus on the positive! As we are a PYP school, I have added the Learner Profile to the behaviours. Very nice!
